FAQ
When is the deadline for tapes?
There is no set deadline for tapes, but the sooner the better because the team will eventually fill up.
What tricks do I need to do to get sponsored?
There isn't a set trick list to get sponsored. Most sponsors look for a combination of tricks, style, consistency, creativity and personality. We receive tons of sponsor me videos, so do something to make yours stand out. Include some information about yourself and let us know why we should sponsor you other than you wanting free stuff.
What format should the video be?
DVD, CD or MiniDV.I don't have a video camera. Can I send you pictures?
I'm sorry, if you would like to be considered for the team you will need to send in a 1-3 minute video of your best skating. Once you get sponsored it will be your responsibility to film video parts and work on getting coverage. If you are unable to get footage together for us now you will be unable to fulfill your responsibility as a Destructo Team Rider. Find a friend who has a camera and start filming!
Other advice?
Ride Destructo! If you are looking to get sponsored by Destructo it should be because you like our product and want to support it...not just because you want to add another sponsor to your list.
We are looking to support skate shops across the country that sell Destructo, by helping to support their team. If you skate for a shop that carries Destructo let us know, this is a plus.
