My name is Ricky Davon Webb. My sponsors are Popwar Skateboards, Nike sb, The Hundreds, Force trucks, and Furnace skate shop. I’m from Long Beach, California.
What up with Long Beach? Is that the spot to be for skateboarding, or do you think you need to get out of there to go further?
Long Beach is great! There’s lots of stuff to skate out here. I pretty much film down here on a regular basis, but if I get tired of spots down here, LA is only 25 minutes away. So it's chill.
Who are you hyped on right now in skateboarding?
I would have to say Sean Malto. That kid’s a beast!
What bums you out in skateboarding at the moment?
Good spots that are getting skate-stopped or torn down. I hate that shit!
Any crazy LB stories?
Man! I've got tons! Let’s see. What’s a good one... Umm. This one actually involved me. I was in 11th grade and I was going to my friend’s house one night. Right when I opened the back gate to leave, I [saw] two men hiding in shadows. I just said to myself in my head, “What the fuck is this?!” So I try to run back to my house, and the two guys pop out with guns on me, and tellin’ me to get on the ground. I notice that it’s two cops. I'm on the ground at this time, and they walk up to me with guns all pointed at me and shit. Once they got closer, they realized I was just a kid, and they asked me if I saw a guy run into my backyard. I told them “No” and they just took off. If I didn’t get on the ground and just took off [like] some dumbshit, I believe they would have killed me.

Well, that would have been unfortunate... Do you ever go apeshit if you can't land your trick, and like, snap your board or throw it at your filmer?
No. Not really. I’m a pretty calm guy. I might yell a little bit when I cant do something, but I never go nuts, ‘cause I know its not gonna help me get my trick.
What trick will get you in a game of S.K.A.T.E every time?
Bigspins. I can never do those.
Anyone you’d like to punch in the face?
Naw, not really.
Alright, if you HAD to punch someone in the face, who would it be?
Probably a Star Wars geek or something. I don’t know. Haha!
Yeah, Star Wars fuckin’ sucks. So what’s the plan right now, and where is that gonna have you in five years?
My plan right now is just to keep skating hard every day and rack up lots of footage and photos and make a name for myself in the skate industry. Hopefully, I could turn pro in five years. That would be great!

It's a new skate video by Aki Turner that’s going to drop this summer, starring myself, Rashad Turner, Richard Villa, Derrick Barney, Thomas Wardlow, Reese Williams, Oliver Rivas, and Ryan Ashburn. It's gonna be sick!
Oh yeah, and starring Bruno Vega, also.
